Dr. Kirk Schneider is a licensed psychologist and one of the leading exponents of contemporary existential-humanistic psychology. He teaches at the University of Saybrook and the Teachers College of Columbia University, is President of the Existential Humanist Institute, and is a former editor of The Journal of Humanistic Psychology. Member of and five divisions of the American Psychological Association (Humanistic, Clinical, Psychotherapeutic, Philosophical Theoretical, and Independent Practice), candidate for APA Presidential election in 2022, active speaker at many professional conferences. Author and co-author of twelve books, including The Paradoxical Self, Horror and the Holy, Existential-Integrative Psychotherapy ir Awakening to Awe.

The workshop is based on Kirk Schneider’s recently published book, similarly titled Life Enhancing Anxiety: Key to a Sane World.
